Nutrient Credits
A nutrient credit represents a verified quantity of nitrogen and/or phosphorus removed from a waterway. In our system, oysters are the removal mechanism — they filter pollutants out of the water column, and the removal is measured, lab-analyzed, and verified by independent reviewers. One Pearl Token = one verified credit.
A carbon offset is typically a projection — a tree planted today that might sequester carbon over decades. A nutrient credit is a measurement of removal that already happened. The oysters filtered. The lab analyzed. The credit represents past work, not future hope. That's evidence, not a projection.
The ISNRP™ framework has been validated by five independent institutions: the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, Virginia DEQ, US EPA, the Chesapeake Bay Partnership, and the US Army Corps of Engineers. Each credit undergoes third-party review before a Pearl Token is minted.
Qualified buyers can start an interest review for compliance, corporate sustainability, or water-restoration support. Credit issuance, payment activation, and claim language open only after verification and approval. Contact water@verity.one for pricing review and availability.
An adult Eastern oyster (Crassostrea virginica) filters 50 to 130 gallons per day, depending on water temperature, salinity, and food availability. Pacific oysters can filter even more. You can literally watch the water clear around an active reef.
Tokens
A Pearl Token is a blockchain-anchored NFT that represents one verified nutrient credit. It carries the full provenance chain — deployment site, species, harvest data, lab analysis, and third-party verification — all recorded on-chain. When a credit is used for compliance, the Pearl is burned (retired) permanently.
The V Token is the utility token of the Verity One ecosystem. It's an ERC-1155 token on Polygon, audited by Cyberscope and listed on CoinMarketCap. V Tokens facilitate platform transactions, governance participation, and access to Verity services.
Yes. The V Token smart contract has been audited by Cyberscope, an independent blockchain security firm. The audit covers smart contract logic, access control, common vulnerability patterns, and ERC-1155 compliance. The audit report is public.
Crypto payment rails for V Token, XRPL, and datawallet are not open on this staging surface. Fiat payment workflow and crypto checkout open only after independent verification, legal/payment review, and approval. Buyer interest can start now through water@verity.one.
The Science
The In-Situ Nutrient Remediation Program™ is the validated methodology for measuring nutrient removal by living oyster reefs. Developed by the Oyster Company of Virginia and refined over years of field deployment, it provides standardized sampling protocols, regulatory alignment (Virginia Code § 62.1-44.19:20), and per-reef quantification of nitrogen and phosphorus removal.
Primarily nitrogen and phosphorus — the two nutrients responsible for algal blooms, oxygen depletion, and dead zones in coastal waters. Oysters remove them through bioassimilation (incorporating nutrients into shell and tissue growth) and biodeposition (filtered material deposited on the seabed where bacteria convert nitrates to nitrogen gas).
Real science. Peer-reviewed, regulator-approved, and measurable in real time. Five independent institutions validated the framework. The Chesapeake Bay TMDL — the largest Total Maximum Daily Load in the nation — recognizes oyster-based nutrient remediation as a qualifying practice. We don't make claims we can't substantiate. TRUTH MATTERS®.
The Company
Verity One Ltd. is a Wyoming-registered company (OTC: USDW, CAGE 8JSY1) that provides blockchain-anchored verification and certification services. Our products include nutrient credits (Pearl Tokens), Made in USA Certified® seals, and DataCert™ digital asset verification. The company was founded on a promise made to William Tolar Nolley to continue his work cleaning the world's waters.
It's a registered trademark and the operating principle behind everything we build. It means: every claim is backed by auditable evidence, every credential is anchored to an immutable ledger, and every certificate can be independently verified. If we can't prove it, we don't say it.
